Baby Booties

Belted

I sat up all night Christmas Eve because I was restless and ended up crocheting a cute pink belt.
Not only did I have fun creating it, but I had fun wearing it.
It was a belt of my own design and I got complimented on it.
I feel like a "big kid" amongst those in the crochet world.

Scrapped Project

I had to scrap my scarf project for a different project.

I was going to make a hat for my younger son, but ended up making him a blanket for his favorite teddy bear instead.

Since he likes teddy bears so much, having a blanket to cover him with at bed time will make night time easier.

Scarf Project

I am currently working on a crochet project in an unusual manner.
I am crocheting a scarf using an afghan hook.
I have had trouble in the past with making a scarf because the stitches tended to bunch and curl.
For my current project, I am using an afghan hook and Tunisian stitch.
I will post a picture of my project once I finish it.

Pre-Summer Blog
